About Wycliffe College
Wycliffe College was founded in 1882 in the Gloucestershire village of Stonehouse as a co-educational boarding school. The school is named for John Wycliffe, the fourteenth-century English theologian and reformer who produced the first English translation of the Bible from Latin. The school operates today on a 70-acre rural campus and is co-educational ages 2-18 with around 587 pupils in the Senior School and a substantial boarding population. The Head is Nick Gregory. The school is a member of the HMC and the Boarding Schools Association. The school operates a substantial bursary programme.
