LGS Stoneygate is a co-educational day school for pupils from the age of 4 to 16, that in May 2016 became a member of the Leicester Grammar School Trust s family of schools. This move began an exciting new phase in the life of a school that was originally founded in 1856 and that has always been one of Leicestershire s most respected and well-regarded schools.
Leicester Grammar School Trust is an educational trust overseeing three schools: Leicester Grammar School, Leicester Grammar Junior School and LGS Stoneygate. The Trust was awarded the TES Independent Schools Governing Body of the Year award in 2015.
