About Farnborough Hill
Farnborough Hill was founded in 1889 by the Religious of Christian Education as a Roman Catholic girls' school in Farnborough, Hampshire. The school operates today on a 65-acre campus, on the former Empress Eugénie estate (the exiled French Empress lived in Farnborough Hill after the fall of the Second French Empire in 1870; she founded Farnborough Abbey on the same estate). The school is girls-only ages 11-18. The Head is Amanda Leach. The school is a member of the GSA and the CISC. The school operates a substantial bursary programme.
