Home About Founded in 1975, Collingham is an independent, co-educational GCSE and Sixth Form College offering a personalised education from Year 9 through to Sixth Form. Our mission is to empower individuals to discover their strengths, set purposeful goals and realise their potential with confidence. While fostering academic excellence, we remain committed to nurturing personal integrity, responsibility and the highest standards of achievement.
At Collingham, students benefit from expert tuition, a structured approach to learning and a nurturing environment that supports personal growth. With around 200 students aged 13 to 19 from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, our community thrives on inclusivity and ambition. Many of our students begin their journey with us at Year 9 or GCSE and seamlessly transition to A Levels.
Our A Level department is nestled in the heart of Kensington, overlooking a charming garden square. This prime location offers access to world-renowned cultural and academic institutions, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Imperial College and the Natural History Museum. Our Sixth Form campus occupies a historic Arts and Crafts townhouse, once Gibbs’ Preparatory School, which has been dedicated to education for over a century. Distinguished alumni who have passed through its doors include Robert Kennedy, Lord Snowdon, Prince Edward, Viscount Linley and Christopher Robin Milne, the inspiration behind Winnie the Pooh.
