About Beis Chinuch Lebonos Girls School
Beis Chinuch Lebonos Girls School is an Orthodox Jewish (Haredi) girls' school in the Stamford Hill area of North London — the largest Haredi Jewish community in Europe. The school was founded in 1991 to serve the educational needs of the Haredi community alongside the older Satmar Hasidic schools (Beis Rochel d'Satmar, Beis Ruchel d'Satmar). The school educates around 790 girls ages 3-16. The Principal is Rabbi Reuven Coen.
The school operates a Yiddish-medium curriculum with the statutory English-language secular subjects (mathematics, English, the sciences) taught as required by Ofsted, alongside the substantial Hebrew religious curriculum of limudei kodesh. The school is inspected by Ofsted as an independent faith school. Graduates progress to community-based Haredi seminaries, marriage and family within the Haredi community.
