About Thomas's Battersea
Thomas's Battersea is one of the four schools of the Thomas's London Day Schools group — co-educational prep schools founded in 1971 by David and Joanna Thomas. The Battersea campus is the largest of the four. The school became internationally famous when HRH Prince George of Wales — the eldest son of HRH The Prince of Wales (William, future King William V) and Catherine, Princess of Wales — attended Thomas's Battersea from 2017 to 2022. HRH Princess Charlotte of Wales subsequently attended Thomas's Battersea from 2019 to 2023. Both royal children progressed to Lambrook School in Berkshire when the Prince and Princess of Wales moved to Adelaide Cottage at Windsor in 2022. The Head is Simon O'Malley. The school is a member of the IAPS. The Thomas's schools are particularly distinguished by their high-end professional London parent body and a strong feeder relationship to top London senior schools.
