About The River School

0 Our Vision and Values Our Vision Our Christian vision and values are at the core of everything we do, and have done, since the school opened in 1985. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide a cultural environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Our vision is to provide the sort of school and education that Jesus would have offered if he had started a school in our day. We aim to provide a community where we seek to honour God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to serve and love our fellow human beings as ourselves.

We include and value every individual as significantly made in the image of their Creator. We want to help them develop strong character qualities and gifts, realise their potential and discover their unique role in the world.
