About Somerhill
Somerhill School was founded in 1928 in Somerhill House — a Grade I listed Jacobean country house built between 1611 and 1613 (attributed in part to Inigo Jones) for the Earl of Clanricarde — at Tonbridge, Kent. The school operates today on a 150-acre rural campus and is co-educational ages 2-13 with around 559 pupils. The Head is Duncan Sinclair. The school is a member of the IAPS and is inspected by the ISI. The school is a strong feeder to top UK senior boarding schools — particularly Tonbridge School, located five miles away.
