About Sandroyd School
Sandroyd School was founded in 1888 and operates today on a 380-acre rural campus at Tollard Royal, Wiltshire, in the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The campus is the historic Rushmore Park estate of Lieutenant-General Augustus Pitt Rivers — the Victorian archaeologist who founded the Pitt Rivers Museum at Oxford and the modern discipline of archaeological typology. The school is co-educational ages 2-13 with a substantial boarding population. The Head is Alastair Speers. The school is a member of the IAPS and the Boarding Schools Association.
