MPW London — Mander Portman Woodward — was founded in 1973 by Rob de Munnik (later joined by James Mendaro Phipps and Mark Waldron) as a specialist sixth-form college providing intensive A-Level preparation, particularly for retakes and one-year preparation programmes. The school is one of the leading UK "crammer" sixth-form colleges, particularly distinguished for its medical-schools preparation programme. MPW operates three campuses (London, Cambridge, Birmingham) and the London campus, in South Kensington, educates around 563 pupils ages 15-19. The Principal is Tom Sharman. The school is inspected by the ISI.
