King's School Bruton was founded in 1519 by Richard FitzJames, Bishop of London, as a Tudor grammar school at Bruton, Somerset. The school operates today on a rural Somerset campus and is co-educational ages 11-18 with a substantial boarding population. The Headmaster is Ian Wilmshurst.
