About Farringtons School
Farringtons School was founded in 1911 by Edith Farrington as a Methodist girls' school in Chislehurst, south-east London, on the Kent border. The school became co-educational and today educates around 660 pupils ages 3-18. The Head is David Jackson. The school is a member of the Boarding Schools Association and the Methodist Schools Association and is inspected by the ISI. The school operates a substantial bursary programme via the Methodist Independent Schools Trust, intended to provide educational access for South-East London and Kent families regardless of family means.
