Emmanuel School, Derby

Since February 2020, the school has been run by Emmanuel School (Derby) Limited, a charitable company set up to take on the running of the school. The trustees of the company are responsible for the financial running of the school and ensuring it complies with regulations. It is the responsibility of the Board of Governors to ensure that the School pursues excellence through operating to the highest standards, complying with all of the relevant national guidelines and policies and in fulfilling its mission to educate the whole child to serve the whole world and bring glory to God.

Emmanuel School was established in 1988 by East Midlands Christian Fellowships as the church recognised that the secular education system was failing to supply our children with the foundations they needed to mature in their Christian faith. As a result we have established a school where Christian beliefs and atmosphere are central. The curriculum we have developed is designed to train our children in godliness and integrity as well as equip them with the skills and knowledge they will need for living. We aim to provide all this in a loving and disciplined environment where each child is valued and encouraged in the fulfilment of their God-given potential.

Emmanuel School is open for all those whose parents or guardians share our mission and values and will support the school in its practices.
