Dulwich Prep School London — "DPL" — was founded in 1885 in central Dulwich Village, south-east London, originally as a preparatory school feeding into the neighbouring Dulwich College. The school today operates as a co-educational prep school ages 3-13 with extended provision into the early senior years, with around 812 pupils. The Head is Caroline Dawson. The school is a member of the IAPS and the ISA and is inspected by the ISI.

The school's principal distinctive value proposition is its direct feeder relationship with the three Dulwich Foundation senior schools — Dulwich College (boys, ages 7-18), Alleyn's School (co-educational, ages 4-18) and James Allen's Girls' School ("JAGS", girls ages 4-18).
