About Caldicott School
Caldicott School was founded in 1904 as a boys' boarding prep school at Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire. The school is one of the leading UK prep-school feeders to the top senior boarding schools, with substantial numbers of Old Caldicott boys progressing to Eton, Harrow, Wellington, Marlborough and Radley each year. The Head is Jeremy Banks. The school is a member of the IAPS and the Boarding Schools Association. The school's distinguished alumni include the England cricket captain Andrew Strauss OBE (later Sir Andrew Strauss after his post-cricket cricket administration work) — Strauss attended Caldicott before progressing to Radley. The Liberal Democrat leader and Deputy Prime Minister Sir Nick Clegg (2010-15) was also briefly at Caldicott.
